Current Nature-based Projects
Walking Roots Project
The project has been commissioned by DRI - Diversity Resource International, a non-profit organisation supporting ethnically diverse and migrant communities in Sussex. These ecosystemic walks are for women from ethnically diverse backgrounds, experiencing isolation or migration-related stress. The walks invite to explore and connect with the High Weald landscapes and each other to enhance their well-being and deepen their sense of belonging.
Ecotherapy Group Programme
The focus of the group is to engage in nature-connection activities in relation to wellbeing, self-care and personal growth. It will be a closed group of up to 12 participants. The activities will be achievable and inclusive for all participants. The 8-week programme is run in beautiful greenspaces in Woodingdean, Brighton or another agreed location.
Ecotherapy For Mental Health
An individual programme of 8 ecotherapy sessions that are tailor-made for each person. The programme will help people get familiar with their local green spaces, and identify barriers to regular contact with nature for their wellbeing. It will involve nature-connection activities to facilitate mindfulness and interacting with nature to experience the benefits of spending time in nature to improve mental health.
